Rev & Abuse
Rev is real weird around abuse victims, especially that of the child kind because he himself was viciously abused by his dad.
he kills abusers, but it isn't really to get justice for the victim, it's more because he projects his anger onto the abuser. he's pretty selfish.
an outsider would think he's a hero for doing that and they'd just be seeing the surface of it. the extent of his empathy is real limited.
but somehow? it's there? somewhat?
it also coincides with the fact that people would rather fulfill what they think is justice/their revenge rather than help the victim. it's all selfishness.
will killing the abuser feel good? yes. but does it heal you? no. it doesn't help you overcome anything.
which is why his little twin brother Ren hasn't healed much at all despite Rev murdered his rapist. neither did Rev when he killed their abusive dad for that matter.
